Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor most well-known for her role as Bo on the Showcase program Lost Girl. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk, a prominent actor, director, educator, playwright and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her first memories of watching television and going to rehearsals for shows. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials as just a child. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Early theater work includes at least two plays with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto Canada in the month of the month of November 1999. Her next move was into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Her future spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's workshop in Los Angeles in 2007. They were legally married in December of 2009. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in an Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second daughter was born on the 13th of May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's TV work includes her role as Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she earned a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast as Bo Dennis, a succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk became pregnant during production of the finale episode for season three. episode. Silk's performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex couples on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite Television Couples on CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top TV Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on the social network.
