Katarina Witt was born on third of December, 1965 in Staaken, East Germany. On her quest for new experiences Witt keeps expanding and develop new abilities in the world of figure skating, as also producing, performing acting and writing. Katarina Witt's successful amateur career ends for now following the 1988 World Championships. The following three-year period she will be co-headlining her first professional appearance in Canada and USA with World Champion Brian Boitano. The show's success is such that the event, "Witt and Boitano Skating", the reason Madison Square Garden is now sold out for the premiere figure skating show that has been held in New York in 10 years. She returns as a professional athlete for the Olympic Games at Lillehammer, 1994 for her third appearance. After touring across the US for ten years as the host of "Stars on Ice" as well as participating in international professional events. She is the creative brain behind many of the international Ice Shows that she designs, develops headlines, produces and creates with her own production firm, WITH WITT. With WITT, the company set new standards in the production of shows that skate, like "Divas On Ice", "Katarina & Friends" as well as "Enjoy The Stars".
